Avian & Exotics Service (AVES) is a dedicated exotics-only veterinary hospital, providing specialist veterinary care to exotic pets:
- Mammals (rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, ferrets)
- Birds (parrots, budgies, cockatiels, cockatoos, pet poultry and waterfowl (chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese), canaries, finches, pigeons, doves)
- Reptiles (turtles, lizards, snakes)
- Amphibians (frogs, axolotls)
- Fish
Exotic pets have unique needs that differ from those of dogs and cats, and our hospital is designed specifically around those needs. Our team is highly trained to provide the best possible care for your exotic pets, which includes creating a calm and safe environment for them. Many of our patients are prey species, and the presence of predator species such as dogs and cats can create fear and stress. We kindly ask that dogs are not brought onto our premises.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in helping us maintain a calm and safe environment for the animals in our care.
